Our prestigious wines are wines that have been selected and distinguished for their outstanding characteristics. They are the Cuvées Prestiges, the awarded and the exceptional wines (we are regularly listed in the wine guides and other relevant publications).

Cuvée Prestige : We grant this title to wines for their special quality. Often they are original wines whose maturing and finishing processes were extraordinary.

Riesling Grande Médaille d'Or : This wine alone signifies the remuneration of our whole year’s work.
Every year the international competition for the best “Riesling du Monde“ takes place in Strasbourg. Switzerland, Germany, France, New Zealand, South Africa, Australia, Austria, the USA and other countries are represented here to evaluate and classify their wines.
We had the honour of an award for our Riesling Grand Cru Steinert 2002, which won the ”Grande Médaille d’Or“, the big gold medal.
It is a very impressive wine typical for the terrain and vine variety. It has fruity notes and a surpassing freshness that can be combined with exquisite dishes.

Riesling Médaille d'Or : Several gold medals are awarded to wines of excellent quality at the same competition for the “Riesling du Monde“- our Riesling Vendange Tardive 2000 won this award.

Pinot Gris Barrique 2001 : This Pinot Gris was aged in 500-litre barrique barrels. It’ll arouse your admiration – while relishing it in intimate company, among connossieurs. Soft, velvety, fruity, and with an aroma of vanilla and grill, this wine is an adornment in our range.
