For more than five generations, we have been preserving and passing on the skills, our savoir faire, from father to son.
All the special features and the extraordinary temper of our vineyard sites conserved by the aging of wine in oak barrels in our cellar built in 1616, bestow a completely inimical personality to our wines.

Our vineyard :

On rich, sun-flooded earth, the lovely wine-growing village Pfaffenheim nestles in the prime foothills of the Vosges.
Our vineyard is cultivated on eight hectares of sunny slopes. Seated at the heart of the noblest Alsatian land, it can boast of a Grand Cru location – the Steinert. The Grand Cru Steinert, a calcareous land ideally facing south-east, produces full-bodied, royal, very aromatic great wines.

Our sensitivity to pristine and natural products defines the way how we grow the vine with respect to nature. The continuous pursuit of the highest quality leads us to our special procedure – with a conscious limiting of the yield, beginning from the cut in winter, we enhance the balance and harmony of every vine variety and the characteristic expression of the terrain.
Therewith we offer you the guarantee of a wholesome harvest and rich, balanced, complex, lasting and especially storable wines.
